FOR PARENTS
You want your swimmer healthy, progressing and still loving the sport. So do we. Here's how we work with families.
Your athlete stays at the center of every decision. You stay informed about every one of them.
You'll understand the plan. After the evaluation, we explain what we found, what we recommend and why, in plain language.
You'll see the progress. We track measurable markers so you can see change, not just hear about it.
We'll work with the coach. With your permission, we coordinate training modifications so rehab and practice pull in the same direction.
We'll protect the long game. We won't push a return before your swimmer is ready, and we won't hold them back once they are.
Competitive swimming asks a lot of young athletes. Injuries and setbacks are almost inevitable. What matters is what they learn from them.
We help swimmers build ownership, resilience and an identity bigger than their results, so they leave healthier, more capable and more independent than when they arrived. Long after competitive swimming ends, they still carry those lessons.
No! In California, you can start physical therapy without a doctor's referral. If treatment extends beyond 45 days or 12 visits, whichever comes first, we'll help coordinate the required physician approval to continue care.
We are a cash-based practice and do not accept insurance directly. This allows us to provide individualized care without insurance companies determining how often we see you or what your treatment looks like. We can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan.
Every swimmer is different. Some need help getting out of pain, while others need more time to rebuild the strength and capacity to handle their training. After your assessment, we'll outline a clear plan with measurable milestones so you know what we're working toward and how we're progressing.
Not necessarily. In fact, keeping swimmers in the water whenever it's safe is a big part of our approach. Rather than automatically shutting down training, we help athletes understand what they can do, what needs to change, and how to build their capacity to handle more. Our goal isn't just to get you swimming again. It's to prepare you for the demands of the sport.
We work with competitive swimmers at every level, from young age-group athletes to collegiate, professional, and Masters swimmers. Whether you're working toward your first championship meet or preparing for the Olympics, our approach is built around your goals and the demands of your training.
Absolutely! Parents are welcome to be involved, especially when working with younger swimmers. We believe the best results happen when athletes, parents, coaches, and our team are working together. At the same time, we want athletes to take ownership of their health, understand their bodies, and build the confidence to make good decisions throughout their swimming careers.
